Je pensais que les dinosaures existaient toujours. Comme adulte, je me demande pourquoi ce type de vache n’existe pas.ĥ. En les regardant, je me suis dit, « Ils ne peuvent sûrement pas produire de lait pur comme les vaches noir et blanc! » Puisqu’elles sont marron, j’ai conclu qu’elles produisaient du lait marron, ou du lait au chocolat. Cependant, en voyageant avec ma famille en Angleterre quelques ans plus tard, j’ai vu un troupeau de vaches marron. Au moment où elle me l’a dit, je croyais que toutes les vaches étaient blanc et noir. Quand je n’avais que trois ou quatre ans, ma mère m’a expliqué que les vaches nous donnent du lait. Je suis arrivé à cette conclusion de façon très logique. Je croyais que les vaches marron nous donnaient du lait au chocolat. Je ne me suis pas rendu compte du fait que ce lion célèbre n’était qu’un homme déguisé.Ĥ. Après avoir vu le film, je voulais même voyager en Afrique pour trouver un lion qui deviendrait mon ami. Je croyais que c’était un vrai lion, sélectionné parmi d’autres lions après avoir passé une audition. Quand j’étais très jeune, j’ai regardé Le Magicien d’Oz avec mes parents, et le « Lion peureux » était mon personnage préféré. Je pensais que les lions pouvaient parler. Ils agissent de façon similaire, ils s’entendent plutôt bien, et ils se ressemblent…vaguement.ģ. C’était une conclusion assez logique, à mon avis. Puisque le chat et le chien sont les deux animaux les plus souvent domestiqués, je croyais qu’ils étaient probablement de la même espèce. Je pensais que le chat était la femelle et que le chien était le mâle. Je croyais qu’un chat et un chien étaient le même animal. (Je me demandais même souvent pourquoi je n’ai jamais vu de mouton au centre commercial.)Ģ. Quand j’étais petit, je ne voyais pas de différence entre la fourrure d’un mouton et un pull, et j’ai donc déduit que les moutons portaient des pulls. Je croyais que les moutons n’avaient pas de fourrure et qu’ils portaient des pulls en laine. Je vous présente donc la liste de mes cinq idées les plus drôles que j’ai eues sur les animaux. Cela dit, je pensais qu’il serait amusant de se rappeler de toutes les idées fausses que j’ai eues sur les animaux quand j’étais petit. Depuis, j’ai beaucoup appris sur les créatures vivantes, et je travaille actuellement au zoo du Bronx à New York. J’étais si fasciné par tous les animaux que cette visite m’a donné envie de devenir zoologiste comme adulte. Je n’avais que quatre ans, mais je me souviens encore du jour. Quand j’étais jeune, je suis allé au zoo pour la première fois avec mes parents.
